Need Linux Mac Windows testers

Test closed, thanks to all testers!
Hopefully something nice will come out of it!

I have some secret evil plans for Rogue Survivor.
I need testers to download and run a small java program.

You have Linux, Mac or Windows.
32 bits or 64 bits.
Desktop or laptop.
Whatever.
Mac users don't have to run a virtual windows machine or compatibility mode, just run your Mac natively.
The procedure:
  1. Download test-rs.jar here: removed
  2. Drop it anywhere you want, it doesn't install extract or install anything so it doesn't matter.
  3. If you know you have Java 1.6 or are on Mac, go to step 5.
  4. Get java here or here.
  5. Double-click on the jar you downloaded in step 1.
  6. Post a comment here stating your OS and what happened.
  7. ????
  8. PROFIT!
I'll keep a record of tests done here. Ideally I'd like at least one tester for each OS.

  16. System:
    ACPI x64-based PC
    Windows 7, 64-bit.
    AMD Phenom II
    8GB RAm
    ATI Radeon HD 5700

    Results:
    -Text is visible
    -Intro music is audible
-Icon rotates, but only when I have the program's window active.
    -Fullscreen function works
    -FPS : ~4660

    Overall: successful.

Any chance we can get a hint of your evil plans?
Did something, or perhaps someone, inspire you to do evil? ;)

    Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity
    AMD Phenom II
    4GB Ram
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 460

Tested with Sun JDK and Open JDK, similar results.

    Results:
    -Text is visible
    -Intro music is audible
    -Icon rotates
    -Fullscreen function works
    -FPS : ~6000

  18. Laptop running Windows 7 (64-bit):

    Text appears.
    Logo appears and rotates.

    Fullscreen FPS: ~1100
    Windowed FPS: ~300

Toggling out of fullscreen results in the screen appearing black with the mouse being the only thing visible. Moving the mouse over objects that should be on the screen (other open windows) cause the cursor to react (from default cursor to hand, re-size cursor, etc). Pressing space after the black screen opens RS window in fullscreen again with everything still working. ESC is the only escape.

    Results:

  22. Sorry, didn't see an edit button. My review above commenting errors was quite likely caused from the test being done by a Remote Desktop Connection (Forgot that they use a dummy driver that most applications dislike using.)
    Non RDC results:
    Win 7 64-bit SP1
    Visible Text
    Audible Music
Icon Rotates (Only when Focus is on window)
FPS between 3000-5000 (Windowed or full screen. Normal fluctuation.)

  23. Win XP 32 SP3

    Test Visible
    Music Audible, and kinda creepy.
Icon Rotates when window is active.
